Designed by Roland Favrat and opened in 1999, the course has matured, is well planned, and provides a relatively quick round as all the holes and tees are linked together with short distances between tees.
The first nine holes are medium length, on wide fairways, but still, require accuracy rather than strength. For the backside concentration is needed, on this technical part of the course accuracy is more important than your ability to hit it long.
Take particular care at the tricky 16th and be careful where you drive your ball on the last a feature hole. Many a match has been lost with water down the left, an elevated green that makes everything hit short run down the hill away from the hole.
The course offers a scenic view across the mountains with all fairways being lined by both ancient olive and palm trees.
There are another 4 golf courses nearby, such as the El Plantio Golf Club, Alicante Golf which was designed by Severiano Ballesteros, Bonalba Golf, and the Font del Llop Golf Club, all close to Alenda Golf.
The property at Alenda Golf is located around the course in peaceful areas and close to the mountains which provides beautiful views.
